The business landscape is constantly shifting, and so we are consistently innovating right along with it. We provide flexible, creative, custom-built solutions to meet the specific needs of each individual client we serve. No short-cuts, no exceptions.

Our History: How We Began
In 2003, Traci and Barry Newkirk started Intellectual Capitol (ICAP) with the desire and need to have a thriving business and family, simultaneously.
They started with no money but a great deal of grit, determination, and drive. They began in the basement of their home, in a windowless room, and built a small business based on their collective strengths: Traci’s unique combination of strong financial management and marketing expertise and Barry’s relationship base with some of the key players in the IT industry.
Over the next fifteen years, Traci and Barry grew ICAP exponentially and were able to bring on interns, hire employees, and develop foundational processes to further scale the business. As they grew, Traci’s acumen, proficiency, and passion for people development was evident, and became an integral part of their success. Already leading with a relationship-based approach to business, the Newkirks realized this expertise could add even greater value for their own clients. And so, Capitol Consulting was born.
Rebranded as Human Potential Advisors in 2021, our team remains laser-focused on helping individuals and teams reach their full potential. We continue to provide critical assistance in the areas of organizational development, training, strategic culture development and culture crisis management solutions, just as we’ve done for hundreds of clients since our launch in 2014 – including small-to-medium businesses, Fortune 500 companies, Government Agencies, Universities, Chambers of Commerce, Leadership & Entrepreneurial Organizations, Churches and Non-Profits.
